We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Bereavement Helpline Co-ordinator for our Here2Hear (H2H) Bereavement Helpline.
It is a new and integral role for the organisation and we want people who have passion and are self-motivated to contribute to our team.
We are seeking someone with a solid administration background to help with the recruitment and management of a group of volunteers who provide bereavement helpline support to our callers.
As the H2H Helpline Co-ordinator it will be helpful if you have experience in supporting people in crisis, an empathetic and person-centred focus and a desire to support people who are experiencing grief and bereavement.
DiverseCity Development Trust and their partners will provide you with specialist training in understanding bereavement, safeguarding and cultural awareness. You will also be trained in all aspects of the equipment needed to fulfil the job role.
This is a full-time role and will be based in our offices 5 days per week, however the successful applicant will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role.
